about

Closing it off with the one that kicks off "Torn" and another fan favorite from the Absolute Zero days. Yes, we know the joke at the beginning is a bit tired to anyone other than Graham, but we've been working on this damn EP for almost six months and we all got used to it. Check out some of the fancy 3-part vocal arrangements in the chorus- we're practically barbershop at this point.

lyrics

How can you stand to hide the truth while we search for a better day/ Your righteous denial of a problem’s existence won’t make it go away/ Human misery, opportunity for power and power will crush opposing views/ Freedom means freedom for your words only as your gospel
encircles me like a noose
Welcome to the resurrection/ For your own good, one direction/ Welcome to the resurrection/ Conspiracy of false perfection
If the thought police had won the fight two thousand years ago/ There’d be no bibles left for you to shove right down my throat/ Bitch
How can you expect me to entertain with a gun held to my head?/ Hopes to enlighten, destroyed when you’re
frightened by punishment for what you’ve said/ Education? No! Indoctrination when the flow of information meets c
lassification/ How will you continue to ridicule me in a world of silence where no-one speaks freely?
The process of communication not a privilege, but a right/ You’ll muzzle any words of honesty until we’re buried alive/ Under a mountain of lies
You're the ones who keep us down, keep us out/ We don't want to hear it, you don't count, shut your mouth/ You can't make it better, had your chance, out of time/ Derisive and divisive, diversity now a crime
