Along with “Lost Somewhere” on “Torn”, this is as close as we’re likely to get to writing a ballad (and won’t likely get this close ever again). Some musical brilliance from both Jose and Mat on this one, including a very nice bass solo from Mat towards the end. His bass is slightly out of tune, but the part’s pretty sweet, anyway. Vocally, we may have been a bit over-ambitious in what we were asking of him on this one.
