Almost a companion-piece to “Ache”, this one also speaks to the idea of slaving away to meet the expectations of others in terms of your life-path, but from less of a first-person perspective. Many musicians gravitate to this lifestyle from not only their passion to create, but their fear of becoming another meaningless cog in the machine.
